Trail Use Requests​​

Requests for commercial vehicles (e.g., tree trimmers, cement trucks, dump trucks, etc.) to access DLPOA's trails are strongly disfavored. In general, the trails are not intended to accommodate commercial vehicles.

If you nevertheless need to request use of the trails for a commercial vehicle, ​your request must include​:
(1) Proposed dates of use (list preferred and acceptable alternatives).

(2) Proposed duration of use.

(3) Weight of vehicles.
(4) Extent of use. What portion of the trail do you propose to use and will it block equestrians or hikers?
(5) Steps you will take to maintain safety of riders and hikers during your use.
(6) Trail restoration plan, i.e. what steps do you propose to take to ensure the trail will be in better condition than it started.

(7) Route of access. Where will the vehicles enter and exit the trails, and at what time?

Requests should be made to the trails committee (email: trails at dapplegraylanes dot com) at least 30 days in advance of the proposed dates of use and should address each and every item above. Requests that fail to do so may be denied without further notice or process.
